How can you help?
There are several ways you can be a part of the solution.
Become a GPI volunteer and help us!
Send us your ideas for projects, your comments on projects we already have in place, and think about how you might assist. We currently don’t need any “boots on the ground,” but in the future we might, so stay in touch. All we need now is your contact information. You’ll be instantly added to our mailing list and receive our almost-monthly newsletters (via email).
Donate money or other resources.
GPI is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation registered in the State of Washington. As such, all contributions are U.S. tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. Gifts are absolutely vital to help us fulfill our mission. All donations and revenues will be used to fund existing programs and develop new programs and services consistent with GPI’s mission. Thank you for your support!
Be a good steward of the Earth.
Learn all you can about the impact of geology on human development, and think about the “big picture” of our life on this planet. Drive less, eat less meat, caulk your windows, and stay away from landslides.
“We need more ethics in conducting our activity as geoscientists for the benefit of society, and Geology in the Public Interest works with this goal.”
